Division of Investigations

Head of Division: Grigor M. Arshakyan

The Division of Investigations of the Department of Repatriation and Investigations:

-conducts investigations on the Armenian Diaspora and its key issues,

-conducts studies on Diaspora Armenian communities,

-conducts investigations and analyses of trends in the Diaspora,

-carries out Armenian programs, as well as ensures the participation of Diaspora Armenians in social, political, scientific, educational and cultural events,

-establishes contacts with Diaspora Armenian communities and organizations in the corresponding fields and organizes joint projects,

-presents analyses of issues relating to the field of the division of investigations, new initiatives and project proposals,

-organizes and presents documents on conducting investigations and analyses on Diaspora Armenian communities and revelation of issues and needs, as well as forming project proposals,

-jointly works with other subdivisions of the Ministry to develop and implement advocacy programs in Diaspora Armenian communities,

-participates in investigations on Armenian studies conducted by other state bodies and educational institutions,

-participates in organizing and holding forums on Armenian studies,

-participates in organizing publication of collections and periodicals.
