Division of Relations with Armenian Communities of Eastern Europe

The Division of Relations with Armenian Communities of Eastern Europe of the RA Ministry of Diaspora
-compiles different databases about Armenian communities of Eastern Europe and the respective countries,
-proposes and implements projects for collaboration between the Republic of Armenia and different Armenian community organizations of Eastern Europe,
-develops annual programs for educational, cultural, economic and sports meetings, festivals and conferences, as well as provides for their implementation; contributes to the defense of national interests, language, culture and educational institutions of Armenian communities of Eastern Europe within the framework of international law,
- organizes mutual visits and receptions for individual representatives of Eastern Europe and Armenian communities, as well as department members and ensures their participation in different meetings and events,
-ensures the involvement of individuals, organizations and institutions of Armenian communities of Eastern Europe in pan-Armenian projects, as well as supports their integration into the social, political and economic life of the respective country,
-supports the process of preserving and disseminating Armenian cultural heritage in the Armenian Diaspora of Eastern Europe,
-ensures participation in urgent processes and state of affairs relating to the field of activity, prepares drafts of legal acts, as well as proposals, conclusions and other documents and develops corresponding guidelines for the division’s functions,
-ensures the timely discussion of letters, appeals, suggestions and complaints relating to the field of activity, the consistency and supervision, as well as prepares proposals, references, statements, letters of commendation, reports and other records.
