NVER M. NALBANDYAN

Nver Nalbandyan was born on March 27, 1960 in Yerevan.

In 1977 she graduated from the N6 middle school of Yerevan.

In 1984 she graduated from the Faculty of Philology of Yerevan State University

In 1978-1991 she worked as a secretary and proof-reader for “Armenian Chess” magazine and in 1983-1991 she worked as an author.

In 2001 she graduated from the Faculty of Law at “Galik” University of Yerevan.

In 1991-1992 she worked as a correspondent of the department of information on programs for Armenians abroad at the State Committee of Television and Radio.

In 1992-1993 she was deputy head of the general department at Yerkagh electric networks.

In 1993-1997 she was head of the department of cadres at “Yerevan” factory.

In 1993-1997 she was a journalist at “Lragir” daily.

In 1997-1998 she was an operator at the center for information and analysis of “Zvartnots” airport

In 1998 she was press secretary at the Ministry of Justice.

In 1998-2003 she was press secretary and leading expert of the staff for cadres at the RA state inspectorate for municipal construction

In 2004-2005 she was lecturer at the Academy of Television and Radio

In 1997-2007 she was a lecturer at the Department of Journalism at “Galik” University of Yerevan.

In 2004-2007 she was a coordinator at “Yerkir Media” television.

2005- a lecturer at the International Center for Science and Education of the RA National Academy of Sciences.

In 2007, she was a lecturer at the Armenian-Slavonic University.

In 2008-2009 she was leading expert at the department in charge of refugees of the migration agency of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration

Nver has been working as head of the division of news analysis of the Department of Information and Telecommunication of the staff of the RA Ministry of Diaspora since February 2009.

She is an author of scientific articles entitled “On Ethics of Journalism”, “Key moral-legal issues in journalism”, “On legal resolution of journalists’ activities in emergency situations”, “Journalists in emergency situations”, “Journalists at hot spots”, “Typical flaws” which have been printed in the “Lraber”, Kantegh”, “Science and Technology” and “Health” magazines of the RA National Academy of Sciences.

Nver Nalbandyan is non-partisan and has one daughter.
