Division of Relations with the Armenian Apostolic Church of Armenia and other Religious Organizations

The Division of Relations with the Armenian Apostolic Church of Armenia and other Religious Organizations of the Department of Pan-Armenian, International and Church Organizations is a structural subdivision of the staff of the RA Ministry of Diaspora.

The division carries out the following functions by the order established by RA legislation and according to the Ministry’s charter to implement its goals and objectives:

-coordinates the cooperation between the Armenian Apostolic Church of Armenia and other religious organizations in the Republic of Armenia

-conducts investigations and analyses of religious events taking place in the Diaspora

-conducts studies on the history of church organizations, the current state and issues

-develops projects for collaboration with church organizations

-participates in Armenian programs organized by church organizations

-ensures the establishment of strong ties and cooperation with Diaspora Armenian church organizations and the development of joint projects

-participates in the annual budgetary planning for the field of activity of the department

-organizes receptions and mutual visits of representatives of religious organizations

-takes part in meetings, discussions and recaps issues

-supports the preservation of Armenian identity by church organizations, as well as preservation, development and dissemination of cultural heritage.
