By Resolution 195-A adopted by the RA Prime Minister adopted on 2010 March 22, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan left for a working visit from the Syrian Arab Republic to the Republic of Lebanon to meet with the Armenian community and representatives of community organizations.
The purpose of the business trip from 2010 March 26 to 28 was to participate in the founding assembly of the “Euro-Mediterranean Academy of Sciences and Arts” organized in the Greek city of Sparta and the international conference on “Key issues facing energetic security and sustainable development of the Euro-Mediterranean region”.
From November 26 to 29, 2009, RA Deputy Minister of Diaspora Stepan Petrosyan and Head of the Department of Armenian Communities of the CIS of the Staff at the RA Ministry of Diaspora Armen Aklyan made a business trip to Sochi to participate in the 20 th anniversary of the “Sevan” non-governmental organization of Sochi, get acquainted with issues concerning the Armenian community and indicate new directions for collaboration.
From October 1 to 8, 2009, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan took part in the pan-Armenian tour of the delegation led by the RA President.
From August 7 to11, 2009, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan traveled to Poland to participate in the constituent assembly of Polish-Armenian community organizations.
From August 4 to 6, 2009, RA Deputy Minister of Diaspora Stepan Petrosyan made a business trip to Rostov-na-Donu to take part in the events dedicated to the 230th anniversary of the foundation of Armenian residencies in the Doni region and organized in the Myasnikov region of the Rostov Province. Petrosyan also got acquainted with issues concerning the Armenian community and indicated new directions for collaboration.
