The Diaspora Minister Mkhitar Hayrapetyan’s working visit to Lebanon is over

On September 24, within the framework of working visit to Lebanon, the Minister of Diaspora Mkhitar Hayrapetyan visited the National Unified School, where he held meetings with the leader of the Armenian Apostolic Diocese of Lebanon Narek Arch. Aleemezian, with the members of the College Council, Dr. Elli Tashjian, Nelli Vekilian and Grigor Ekmekjian. Current issues and challenges were discussed.


Then the minister made a tour in the college, in the territory of the newly built complex.


Mkhitar Hayrapetyan also visited Haigazian University of Beirut, the only Armenian higher educational institution outside of Armenia and met the President of the University, Reverend Doctor Paul Haydostian, the Director of the Center for Armenian Diaspora Studies of the University, Executive Secretary of "Haigazian" Armenological Journal Andranik Daqesyan, as well as the professors of the university. Further steps of expanding the cooperation between the University and the Ministry were discussed. In the format of questions and answers, the Minister had a meeting with the students of Haigazian university.
