The closing ceremony of the camp “Panagoom” took place

On September 23, the closing ceremony of the camp “Panagoom”, organized by the Armenian Athletic Union\'s Scout Movement, took place in the territory of Ani Resort Hotel in Hankavan community. Vazgen Mesropyan, Deputy Chairman of the SDHP Regional Board of Armenia and Misak Najaryan, Chairman of the Central Board of the Armenian National Congress, made opening speeches.

The Deputy Minister of Diaspora Davit Sargsyan also welcomed the participants of the “Panagoom”. He particularly mentioned: "I am delighted to see you in the Motherland. The Armenian Athletic Union, which has about one-century history, has kept its Armenian communities strong. Holding this “Panagoom” in the homeland appears as a unique impulse for strengthening the ties between the Armenian Diaspora and Armenia, getting positive impetus and implementing new ideas. I am sure that the Armenian Athletic Union will continue to educate many generations with the soul of national preservation, who will serve the nation and the homeland forever. We are always looking forward to seeing you here, and together, with joint efforts, we will strengthen more our Armenia belonging to all of us."
