DEPARTMENT OF ARMENIAN COMMUNITIES OF THE NEAR EAST AND MIDDLE EAST

The department is a subdivision of the staff of the RA Ministry of Diaspora that coordinates and carries out activities for ensuring the partnership and standing ties with the Armenian communities of the Near East and Middle East.
The department’s goals and objectives are:
-to ensure standing relations with Armenian communities of the Near East and Middle East
-to develop and implement programs for partnership with Armenian communities of the Near East and Middle East
-to develop studies, analyses and solutions to issues of Armenian communities of the Near East and Middle East
-to implement programs of pan-Armenian significance for the integration of Armenian communities of the Near East and Middle East with the purpose to develop the Armenia-Diaspora partnership
-to undertake measures to develop and implement programs that preserve the Armenian identity and confront the assimilation of Armenian communities of the Near East and Middle East
-promote the participation of Diaspora Armenians of the Near East and Middle East in Pan-Armenian Programs, as well as the social, scientific, cultural and educational events held in the Armenian communities.
