TO MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF THE
ARMENIAN YOUTH ASSOCIATION OF CALIFORNIA
I cordially congratulate the Armenian Youth Association of California on its 25th anniversary.
Established in 1991 by a group of devoted Armenians, this organization has gathered Iraqi-Armenians in the United States of America with the purpose of preserving and disseminating Armenian culture and national traditions. I take pride in stating the fact that the results of the activities of the organization can be seen today. The board and committees of the Association have played an unforgettable role in the preservation of the Armenian identity. What is also commendable is the fact that the Association is in close collaboration with the Ministry of Diaspora and maintains its ties with the Mother Homeland through that collaboration. It is worth mentioning that the Association’s Komitas Four-Voice Choir participated in the 2014 “My Armenia” Pan-Armenian Festival and shone with its mastery and performances.
I express my gratitude to you for remembering the Homeland abroad, providing the young generation with an Armenian upbringing as volunteers and enhancing Armenian culture as self-dedicated Armenians.
Once again, I would like to congratulate the Association on its 25th anniversary, wishing you strength, energy and vigor to carry out your difficult, but very important mission.
With best wishes,
