The international conference on “Religious Sectors of Armenians: Challenges and Opportunities” kicked off in Yerevan on December 9. The conference is organized by the RA Ministry of Diaspora, the “Hyksos” Foundation and “Noravank” Scientific-Educational Foundation.
On November 15, the solemn opening ceremony of the 2nd Pan-Armenian Forum of Architects and Construction Engineers was held at the National Museum-Institute of Architecture. The event was organized by the RA Ministry of Diaspora and the Pan-Armenian Association of Architects and Construction Engineers.
The RA Ministry of Diaspora, the “Development and Preservation of Armenian Culinary Traditions” NGO and the Armenian-French Professional Training Center organized the “Golden Ladle” Festival of Armenian Dishes at the Armenian-French Professional Training Center on October 14.
The two-day international conference on “Prospects of Diaspora in the Globalizing World” organized by the RA Ministry of Diaspora kicked off at Metropol Hotel in Yerevan on May 26, 2011. The conference brought together the heads and representatives of corresponding government agencies of 12 countries (Armenia, Hungary, Greece, Austria, Argentina, Italy, India, Poland, France, China, Romania, Lebanon), heads of diplomatic representations accredited to Armenia, representatives of state and non-governmental organizations, scientists and others.
On April 29-30, 2011, a forum of Armenian chambers of commerce and business associations both from Armenia and the Diaspora was held in Yerevan. The gathering was organized by the Ministry of Diaspora and the Canada-Armenia Business Council, in cooperation with the Armenian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
From October 12 to 16, 2010, the RA Ministry of Diaspora will hold the 5th Pan-Armenian Forum of Journalists with the theme “Challenges of the 21st Century: Information Security and Armenian Journalism”. The forum is open to all media outlets of Armenia and the Diaspora, as well as Armenian journalists.
On September 22, nearly 60 Diaspora Armenian graduates from 14 countries took part in a reunion of Diaspora Armenian graduates of Armenian universities organized by the RA Ministry of Diaspora.
On September 6, the RA Ministry of Diaspora launched the Pan-Armenian Forum of Artists with the participation of 60 artists from 15 countries.
On July 3, the RA Ministry of Diaspora launched the pan-Armenian conference on “State of Instruction of Western Armenian in the Diaspora” at the hall of the Writers’ Union of Tsakhkadzor.
On July 2, the international conference on “100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide: borderline for establishment of justice” organized by the RA Ministry of Diaspora and the World Armenian Congress was held at the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia.
