On October 10, the RA Ministry of Diaspora and the American University of Armenia launched the 7th International Conference of the Armenian International Women’s Association.

The reunion-meeting of leaders and representatives of the regional committees coordinating the events dedicated to the 100thanniversary of the Armenian Genocide kicked off at the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute on May 26. The reunion-meeting is organized by the RA Ministry of Diaspora and the State Commission in charge of Coordinating the Events Dedicated to the 100thAnniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
On Apr. 5, a reunion-meeting with the heads and representatives of regional committees coordinating the events dedicated to the 100thanniversary of the Armenian Genocide in Europe was held by the RA Ministry of Diaspora at the Armenian Home Cultural Center in Brussels
On Feb. 7, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan, members of pan-Armenian organizations, Turkologists, ethnographers, as well as heads of research and educational centers participated in a roundtable discussion on “Issues of Islamized Armenians” at the RA Ministry of Diaspora.
The Fifth Conference of Writers of Armenian Origin Composing in Other Languages was held at the Writers’ Home in Tsakhkadzor on 12-15 July. The event was organized by the RA Ministry of Diaspora and the Union of Writers of Armenia with the support of the World Armenian Congress and the Armenian General Benevolent Union.
The Second Pan-Armenian Forum of Lawyers entitled “Ahead of the 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide” was held in Yerevan on 5-6 July 2013. The forum was organized by the RA Ministry of Diaspora, in association with the Pan-Armenian Conference of Lawyers established after the First Pan-Armenian Forum of Lawyers.
On April 22, a scientific conference on “Modern Armenian Literature in World Capitals” was held at the reading hall of the Mesrop Mashtots Matenadaran as part of the 6th Pan-Armenian Conference of Writers organized by the RA Ministry of Diaspora and the Union of Writers of Armenia.
The solemn opening ceremony of the 6th Pan-Armenian Conference of Writers organized by the RA Ministry of Diaspora and the Union of Writers of Armenia was held at the Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall on April 20.
On February 21, the RA Ministry of Diaspora and the Faculty of Journalism at Yerevan State University organized a conference on “Television and Society” as part of the events dedicated to Mother Language Day.
