TEVOS K. NERSISYAN
Tevos K. Nersisyan was born on April 14, 1957 in Jermuk, Republic of Armenia.
In 1990 he graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of the Partisan High School of Doni Rostov (current North-Caucasus Management Academy under the President of the Russian Federation) in political science and sociology.
In 1984 he graduated from the Department of Journalism (Television and Radio Division) of the Moscow State University after M. Lomonosov.
In 1981-1988 he worked as a correspondent for the “Communist” newspaper and editorial of Russian programs broadcasted on Armenian radio; correspondent of the “Comsomolets” newspaper; senior editor of Russian programs for Armenian television; head of the Russian division of the Editor-in-Chief of Armenia’s state television and radio in charge of programs broadcasted in languages of USSR nations
In 1988-1990 he worked at the television station in Doni Rostov.
In 1990 he underwent training at Leningrad’s television station.
In 1990-1991 he worked as a special correspondent of the Russian “Respublica Armenia” newspaper.
In 1991-1993 he founded and headed the Russian “Svoboda” newspaper.
In 1994 he was a correspondent for the Russian “2x2” television station.
In 1995-1997 he was deputy head of the information division at “Infocom” CJSC.
In 1997-2000 he was a correspondent for Moscow’s “TV center” television station.
In 2004-2005 he was deputy editor-in-chief of the Russian “Respublica Armenia” newspaper.
He has been head of the “Speech and Right” legal-information non-governmental organization since 2000.
In 1997 he founded and headed the “TOP” news-survey agency.
Tevos Nersisyan has been working at the RA Ministry of Diaspora since September 2008.
Tevos Nersisyan has been a member of the Union of Journalists of the USSR since 1986.
