ARTUR D. DUMANYAN

 

Artur D. Dumanyan was born on January 3, 1982 in Yerevan.

 

In 1998 he graduated from the N 131 School after P. Yavorov.

 

In 2002 he graduated with honors from the Department of Turkish Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Yerevan State University.

 

In 2004 he received his MA from the same department.

 

In 2007 he received his PhD from the National Academy of Sciences.

 

In 2007 he defended his dissertation entitled “Military coup d’etat of 1980 in Turkey: causes, process and consequences”.

 

Artur Dumanyan has been working as a researcher at the Turkish department of the Institute of Oriental Studies at the RA National Academy of Sciences since 2004.

 

In August-November 2008 he worked as head of the secretariat at the State Committee on Relations with the Diaspora of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He teaches at the Department of Oriental Studies at Yerevan State University and has authored a number of scientific articles.

A mother is a divine, exceptional, incomparable and an irreplaceable human being. I first and foremost owe it to my mother for my life, career and achievements.
